What open box actually means
Everything on our floor is a 48-hour return or scratch & dent unit from a major retailer, tested and in good working condition. Here is where the units come from, what you gain, and what to weigh before you buy.
From the big box to our floor
How a unit gets here
- 1
It comes back within 48 hours
Home Depot and Lowe’s both run a 48-hour return policy. Wrong size, wrong colour, an impulse buy — once an appliance comes back it cannot be sold as new again, whatever the reason.
- 2
The LG outlet sends it to us
We get our items directly from the LG outlet and from LG authorized dealers, alongside returns and dented stock from the major department stores.
- 3
It is tested before it reaches the floor
All of our appliances have been tested and are in good working condition. Cosmetic defects such as scratches and dents do not affect performance.
- 4
It sells with a real warranty
Units are sold as-is without the manufacturer warranty, so every appliance includes 1 year of free warranty protection instead — extendable to 6 years total through On Point.
Why buy open box
What you gain
The machine is identical to the one in the sealed box. What changed is the price and the paperwork.
- Premium brands, up to 60% savings
- 48-hour returns and scratch & dent stock, tested and in good working condition before they reach the floor
- 1 year of free warranty protection, with up to 6 years total available through On Point
- You can see the exact unit on the floor at either showroom before you pay

What to consider
The honest trade-offs
Open box is a good deal precisely because it is not for everyone. Weigh these before you drive over.
- All scratch and dent appliances will have various cosmetic scratches and dents — that is why the price is lower, and it is not a defect
- Each appliance is sold as-is and without the manufacturer warranty
- Customers are responsible for getting the right specifications — size, gas or electric, and so on
- The return window is narrow: 48 hours from delivery on a unit that is not working, with a 30% restocking fee

Before you buy
Delivery, returns and pickup
How does delivery work?
Delivery fees are calculated based on your delivery address and distance from our store, so please contact the store for an accurate delivery quote. Installation fees vary depending on the appliance type and installation requirements. Available in-stock appliances can be picked up the same day.
What is the return policy?
Within 48 hours of delivery, if the product is not working, you can exchange it for another unit or return it. After 48 hours, returns are not accepted.
A 30% restocking fee applies to returns. Customers are responsible for getting the right specifications of appliance — size, gas or electric, and so on — for their purchase. If needed, we are able to pick up for an additional fee.
Physical damage or installation damage caused by customers cannot be returned.
What about self-pickup?
For pickup customers, if the product is not working, customers are responsible for returning the unit back to the store in order to get a refund or exchange. If needed, we are able to pick up for an additional fee.
